I'm seriously considering try both products even though I've had PRK eye surgery.

scottswanberg I would consult your flight physician before taking anything like that regularly. It never hurts and it might save you some money and frustration.

Most of that eyesight stuff you can get by eating carrots and other vegetables, and your body will retain more of the nutrients.

I didn't think I did that well, but my instructor said it did well for my first time. We flew several pattern, did a couple of confined area landings and takeoffs. The maximum performance takeoffs really got my heart rate going. The pirouettes was definitely a unique experience. He actually let me take the controls at altitude. WOW!!! I can't wait to start training full time. Look out world!

Pilot Information

  • Flight Experience I have always wanted to fly as far back as I can remember. If I wasn't drawing pictures of aircraft, I was daydreaming of being in dogfights. I always kept a balsa wood airplane to fly as well as a kite. As I got older I knew I wanted to fight fighters in the Air Force. Unfortunately that didn't work out for me. Later on I took a strong interest in helicopters. After buying, and crashing dozens of radio controlled helicopters I was convinced by several friends to put in a packet to fly UH-60's in the Army. After a year and a half of going through the application process, I was devastated when I was told that although I was fully qualified, the Army was no longer taking age waivers. I am very happy to announce that I have found a home where I am training to become a helicopter pilot. I am flying the Schweizer 300. More to come on my training so please stay tuned.

Personal Information

  • About Me I am from Louisiana. I grew up as an Army brat, so I have been quite a few places and seen quite a few things. As often as possible you will find me at an airport watching the aircraft land and takeoff. It is an excellent way for me to clear my mind. In my free time I enjoy scuba diving, and skydiving, football and the occasional movie. One day it is my desire to fly not for employment, but strictly for enjoyment.

  • fly911 Thanks. I've been flying mosquito control for about 25 years, so I know quite a few from association gatherings and neighboring programs.
  • Eric just passed the private pilot flight exam.

hello there MD500Pilot. I've thought about trying to fly for law enforcement, but right now I think I will be happy flying charter flights. The only thing that turns me away from wanting to fly law enforcement is that you have to be on the force for at least two years. How true is that? I've been an Air Force Cop for 12 years now. Actually, I will be starting my training in January and during that time I will actually think about in which direction I want my career to go.

Absolutely I will be going for my commercial. Once I get my ratings in the Schweizer, I want to get my ratings in the R22 and the R44 to make myself that much more marketable. I will definitely keep everyone updated.

Not only am I new to this site but I am a new pilot as well. So new in fact at the moment I have logged 1 hour of flight time. Flying helicopters is something I've wanted to do for quite some time now.  will be flight training at Middle Georgia College. To be honest, the last time I was this excited about something, I was watching the judge sign my divorce papers. I came across this site totally by accident. But I'm so glad that I found it. There is nothing better than socializing and networking with others who enjoy what you enjoy. I will be posting the progress of my flight training and I plan on creating a blog as well.
