Mitchell99 → alytle: Before you do find an army aviator and ask them all the details of the entrance exam and ASFAB.  You should be able to come right to Rucker if you have already been in.

Keith58: Would like to talk to you some about primary. Might be headed your way in Oct-Nov '11 looking for a job. Would like your opinions about it. Trying to decide between that and applying as a DAC.

Mostly some type of Flight Instruction, but some interesting things have been Buffalo herding, Deer surveys, Raptor (birds of prey) surveys, and Photo and film work (This had to be the most fun because I not only did the aerial film flying but I was able to act in the film too. It ended up the winning the 2007 Apple Insomnia Film Festival. Check it out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Pko_Jn5ciI )

in the topic Hello from Mother Rucker. in the forum Introduce Yourself

Hello all, I am currently a Instructor Pilot at Fort Rucker and fly the TH-67 (the ARMY Version of the Bell 2066 BIII). I teach "Primary", or I am the one that takes you from pedestrian to pilot. I have been an instructor for the since 2006, but started here at Rucker in 2009. If any one needs advice on getting into training with the ARMY or the civilian side of things, send me a message and I'll try to help you as much as possible. Hope to get to know more of you.
