"There is a dangerous highway funding bill (S.1813) with an amendment (S.Amdt.1779) to the highway trust fund bill offered by Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) which gives regulatory authority for some of those pieces to an agency – the National Park Service. We *do not* want the National Park Service to control any United States airspace. We want the FAA to control United States airspace."

Can you please post when you call your representative concerning the  National Park Air Tour Amendment? I called my representative today but got their voicemail. I left a message but I'm going to call back first thing tomorrow morning. I normally never ask people to respond to my posts but Helicopter Association International (HAI) is asking for our help and HAI does fight for the rights of all helicopter companies which in turn helps all helicopter pilots keep their jobs and probably, in the long run, creates new jobs. You might not even be a member of Helicopter Association International but they are still helping all helicopter pilots and companies with this issue.  less
