Flight Experience
I'd always been interested by anything that flies, Dad had been a rocket man. After high school I made a living in computers, but it wasn't really lighting my board. One day I was sitting in my office, working about five minutes an hour when I realized that "You know? It doesn't matter if NOBODY does my job." That wasn't the way I'd always imagined living, so I had to get out of computers and into something that I cared about, something that would fully engage my attention and something that mattered. I started helicopter flight training.

About Me
I'm currently the Base Aviation Manager for the HEMS base in Sioux City Iowa where I fly missions, look after three terrific pilots and keep the paperwork straight. We work for Med-Trans and have a Eurocopter EC135P2+ - a amazing helicopter. We use NVG's for all night work.
In previous HEMS work I've flown the Bell 407, the AS350B2, the BK117B2 and the BO105 CBS-4. So far my favorite is the EC135, but I'm happy flying anything that can fly backwards!
