I don't see any message here -- was this just to start a topic?
In any case, each year I usually offer two very long cross-country flights suitable for time building. The flights go between the Phoenix area and Seattle. I don't care about route; I let the pilot choose it. Sometimes we go up the CA coast; other times we fly up through Utah and then across. It usually runs 10-12 hours. This is in an R44 Raven II. Sometimes I have just one pilot; other times two pilots take turns and split the costs. One guy did two flights in one year, thus building enough time to teach in R44s. We usually do it in 2 days, but with an early enough start, 1 day is possible.
Unfortunately, I do have to put a price tag on the flight time: I'll likely go with $300/hour this year, which is below my cost per hour to operate.
I can also do the flights as Part 135, which might be how I do it this April (got two passengers potentially lined up), for $350/hour.
If anyone is interested, please let me know. The trips are usually in April or May and then again in September or October.
I also occasionally have much shorter time-building opportunities in the Phoenix or Seattle areas; some of which have lower price per hour costs.
