just got back from flying to santa barbara with Tod, the flight went great, except for the helipads at santa barbara were full and they wanted me to land at a taxi-way that I was unfamiliar with, so we flew to the airport along the 101 and then headed back to camarillo airport along the coastline.come to find out since I didnt land at SB it doesnt count as cross country time, only pilot in command time >_<. oh well, now I know that I need to atleast fly one traffice pattern each time I get to a destination. I usually do set down and pick up, it was just a windy day (12kts) and I didnt want to screw around with a taxiway that id never even botherd to look at in my airport directory, usually land at signature air, but all 3 pads were taken so whatev :P all in all great flight, didnt take pictures, but had fun.
